Job Summary
Job Summary: The ServiceNow Developer is responsible for the development, customization, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform to meet the organization's business needs. This role involves collaborating with various departments to design and implement solutions that streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall user experience.

Responsibilities:
  • This position requires a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform & front-end technologies.
  • The Developer should demonstrate an understanding of ServiceNow best practices and how ITIL processes can be successfully implemented in the tool.
  • Experience in Workflow and Flow Designer
  • Ability to create dynamic catalog items (leaning on the easier stuff like UI policies and such)
  • Ability to create client-side and server-side scripts and define the functional difference between the two.
  • Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow portals to meet business requirements and improve user engagement.
  • Customize portal layouts, themes, and widgets to create a user-friendly and visually appealing interface.
  • Conduct thorough testing of ServiceNow portals to identify and address bugs, usability issues, and performance concerns.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to develop and execute test plans.
  • The Developer works in a team atmosphere with absolute transparency.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification or higher is preferred.
  • Strong experience in ServiceNow configuration, development, and scripting.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and scripting languages.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of ITIL best practices and IT service management concepts (for ITSM-focused roles).
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with specific ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HR Service Delivery, etc.) depending on organizational needs.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow Service Portal development.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and Reporting.
  • Understanding of ServiceNow integration technologies (e.g., REST, SOAP, MID Servers).
  • Project management skills for managing ServiceNow development projects.
